Product comes with a pre-made and ready-to-use FMOD project, Unity version is also included with a pre-made compatibility for RES2 and the FMOD project.

 

The Unity version of City Car Sounds includes compatibility packages in .unitypackage format, made for the Realistic Engine Sounds 2 asset, and a complete FMOD project is also included in a separate .unitypackage!

Each engine sound pack includes 40 WAV files (20 for exterior and 20 for interior camera view), containing seamlessly looping sound clips of stationary rpms, giving you flexibility for immersive audio design.

Features:

  • Seamlessly looping sound clips of stationary engine RPM ranges

  • Sounds are pre-recorded for both exterior and interior camera views

  • Pre recorded off-load sounds for added realism

  • Pre recorded “Aggressiveness SFX” specifically for RES2 and FMOD, ideal for simulating car tuning and open exhaust effects

  • 200 wav files just for engine sounds: sound clips made for interior and exterior camera views + start / stop engine SFX + aggressiveness SFX

  • Compatible with Realistic Engine Sounds 2 – prefabs are packed inside .unitypackage file for easy import

  • Compatible with FMOD – FMOD Studio project and a pre-baked sound pack are packed inside a .unitypackage file (no integration provided, programming skills are required for FMOD integration!)

 

This asset does not contain the engine sound controller scripts, only just wav files and some scripts made for demo scenes!

 

Compatibility for Realistic Engine Sounds 2 (packed inside a .unitypackage) contains:

  • Turbo SFX (turbo sound controller script made for RES2)

  • Gearbox SFX (using assets from RES2)

  • Gear change SFX (using assets from RES2)

  • RES2 City Car engine sound prefabs are combined with the above mentioned sound effects

 

Compatibility for FMOD (packed inside a .unitypackage) contains:

  • Assets for FMOD (including all sound clips)

  • A highly detailed FMOD Studio project (.fspro), so you can edit or bake the sound bank by yourself

  • Pre-baked sound bank for Desktop

 

Important: FMOD integration scripts are not included. Implementing FMOD in your Unity and Unreal Engine projects requires programming skills.
